Tiger Shark Series
Tiger Shark Series
The Superwinch Tiger Shark was created as the next generation entry-level winch. Superwinch Engineers took lessons learned over the past 20 years and poured in clever design to produce a winch that earns the "standard issue" title. This is the winch that sets the bar for value - and performance.
POWER
9,500 to 17,500 lbs. From the fully-tested-to-stall drum supports to the severe duty textured finish, Tiger Shark is a winch series that's earned its stripes.
STAINLESS
The Tiger Shark Series from Superwinch feature upgrades most winches lack. By choosing stainless steel hardware, tie bars and fairlead rollers, Superwinch is insuring your winch will not only avoid rusting but will look great in the long run.
CHOOSE YOUR CABLE
WHY CHOOSE SYNTHETIC? Let's break it down: Synthetic rope is remarkable stuff: light, strong, safe. That's right - we like synthetic rope better than wire with a couple of caveats: abrasion and heat. Superwinch is the only winch maker to build winches to handle the true rigor synthetic rope puts on a winch. We've beefed up the drum and moved the heat-creating brake away from the drum. The result is a winch that is the best choice for synthetic.
WHY CHOOSE WIRE? Wire the gold standard for winching. It's strong, reliable and if treated right, can last a long time. It's best for pulling over rocks (synthetic rope comes with a rock sleeve to limit abrasion) and running through dirt and mud. Wire is also the less expensive option.
PULL AND TURN
Shaped for ergonomics, the pull and turn freespool control requires two motions to unload the gears. Designed to prevent accidental freespool and looks darn good doing it.
WEATHER SEALED
5.2hp and 6.5hp motors are fully sealed to reduce damage from rain, snow and blowing dust.
